Roger at cyclemagic defo worth a shout. Try Steve at Coventry Transport Museum also, or Doug Pinkerton in Halesowen, or finally the folks at the National Cycle Museum, Llandrindod Wells - all could help with contacts closer to Berwick.
Bit closer but sketchy - at the start of last years ToB in Rochdale there were the North West Vintage Cyclist assoc or something similarly named, also similar at Chorlton Green Festival, both tenuous leads if you get desperate. I should really keep contacts and business cards updated, sorry.
