See you all at the crabtree tomorrow.

FYI: the crabtree still had a sign up saying 'no bikes' in their garden when I went past last week. So all parking etc will be out on the road - bodieanddoyle: would be good to get clarity as to where the bikes can go..

On it now...

• #20111
there was space between the (low ) back wall and the river before unless someone's moved it... or it fell in the river..
it does mean the bikes are visible, although do need to be locked as ever
If it doesn't work out at least it was tried and hung and I'll stfu for ever on it.
(Did I tell you there was nice pub just the other side of the river.......)

Right shithouses:
I spoke to a guy called Richard who explained that whilst they cannot allow any bikes in the garden area, there is a small section to the where we can keep our bikes. He did say that if there are too many bikes then we would be encouraged to move them. I did explain that when I was last there a few weeks ago, someone had rather helpfully parked a Strange Rover there. I gather Minkfarmer had retreated to the country pile for the weekend, so it wasn't him. Richard explained that this part isn't actually "their" garden. I gather that's where we can put our bikes.
I explained that I would happily speak to someone in person and explain things more clearly.
He did say that people would not be permitted to smoke outside in the garden after 10.30pm because the neighbours cause a "right bleedin' stink" if anyone so much as titters.
I'm speaking to the duty manager tomorrow to try and set up some kind of food deal and will radio in with the results.
I thank you.

Diable's not wrong and the quest for a "home" isn't wrong either
Its worthy of the one last try, if only to salute Fiddy

I shall call them in a bit and drop in tomorrow.
Any final objections to the Crabtree?
Seriously...
