Just thought I'd point out that RRP was £1300.00. A good saving of just over 15%.
Hope that little nugget gets you a buyer...

OK..allowing for it being a lovely bike which it is and Cycling Plus raved about it...can you explain why you bought it in the first place.....and then lose £200 into the bargain.....hope you have not told your wife/partner etc this...as you will be dog meat.....Good luck with the sale.....you could have bought a geared beater to test the water? But no you go and buy the dog's bollocks...well, the dog wants them back at a discount!

Its an insurance replacement as stated in the OP. I had previously been riding in and out of London every day and now haven moved a bit further out and with a baby on the way decided I didnt want to anymore. I have 2 singlespeed bikes that are more than capable with pootling round London so don't see the point in keeping this expensive brand new machine which will see very little use. Hope that explans why I am willing to loose £200 on this lovely bike, it really is stunning and I wish I had more use for it but tbh the cash is more appealing... It's currently living in my future child's nursery and I woul rather have the money to spend on that than just being wasted....

"The only difference between winning and losing is how much you are willing to suffer"
Well i've sat through enough of his bloody adverts when watching the tour de France, i've suffered no end, does that mean i win?

I think so, congrats!

Good deal, great bikes, hope you can sell. Might be better off on bikeradar though, you'll get less 'hilarious' banter and more actual buyers
-
• #12
I do like the hilarious banter though =/ but yeah thanks for the advice will see how this goes on here for a little bit, not in a massive rush to sell as part of me still wants to keep it as much as the rest of me is saying take the cash!

• #13
Keep it...but not as a commuter...use it in the countryside...where you can fully appreciate it qualities...plus less cars!
-
• #14
Yeah I did consider that but then I realised if I am out in the country I would rather be off-road on my MTB anyway

£1090 price bump, going to put it on bike radar tomorrow at a higher price so last chance for LFGSS'ers at a lower price

Does the gear cabling pass though the frame to a traditional stop when it could have gone 5mm to the side and not required a complex and costly internal routing?
If I thought Mr Boardman actually had anything to do with the design of these I'd berate him.

Yeah 210 quid less for something that is brand new with a receipt is a pretty good bargain I think, but hey can't please everyone !

Yeah it has internal cabling at the parts you often get cable rub, but basically pointless and complicated yes!
And yeah 54 is med roughly
