Web Design HTML CSS

So I may have promised to do something I can't, alcohol was heavily involved. Its a long story, but it boils down to this: I need to learn how to build a website, and I need to learn it tomorrow!

tips, tricks, programs, resources ect would be really helpful.

I am in a 100% identical situation right now - word for word. Plenty good advice in this thread which I will research carefully.
But it's two years old. Worth a bump to see if any new things in happened in web design since then.
