Wtf happened to Classifieds?
Was it that much trouble for you to post this thread in the right section of the forum? -

Hello, guys, those links (evans etc) are for the non-stainless steel version which is powder coated steel. It is cheaper, i know! What i'm selling is the stainless steel version - try a google for it and see...i'll beat any UK price you can find :)
@nuknow easy, cowboy - i did intend to post this in classifieds, but am still getting to grips with the labyrinth here. will have another look, i know how infuriating it must be..

Hi, I have two brand new, unopened Tubus Fly stainless steel bicycle racks for sale.
Tubus are a top German brand and the Fly is a sleek, minimalist carrier designed for road bikes/fast touring that will take full-size luggage panniers. This is the stainless steel rack, which is a bit more expensive than the powder coated version, but is strong, light and lovely. And shiny.
The racks come with all the fittings you need. It's a 3-point mounting system, ie two bolts attach to the seat stays and one in the brake bridge. I already have one of these racks mounted with P-clips on my bike (80s Bianchi Sprint) and it works great with my Ortlieb back rollers. Potential buyers are welcome to come view if you like - I work in Herne Hill and live in Brixton.
These racks retail at £82 (Brixton Cycles), my price is £65 each. grab a bargain...i will beat any UK price you can find for this item!

These are awesome. I have a powder coated one but would love a stainless for a new project of mine.
Give me a shout if you can go lower than £65.

I'm interested. Could you go to £55??

Yeah I just was just wondering if you'd shifted these.

Hi, sorry I missed your messages - yes I still have two of these racks. Can sell for £60, please PM if interested thanks

Wish I'd known there were stainless ones of these when I bought one at BC, got the PC one :(
Can't really justify buying another one.

Interested, will PM

Actually I'm not interested, sorry my mistake this is for road bikes

Skully, I'd be curious to see what the PC version looks like. I thought the stainless steel one would have a polished finish, but it's slightly matt/coated looking...I might call in to BC and have a look, for comparison. Anyway, they still look great!

I have the PC one - it's kinda grey and gets scuffed by my pannier mounts. Still a looker though, but the stainless is something else entirely in the aesthetics dept. Hence I want yours ;)
