Hey there are a few places you can hire Bromptons, and I think possibly south eastern trains or someone like thy is hiring out Brompton's for people with season tickets.
Sorry for the vagueness, that's about all I know except that the train operator hiring them out was doing so at astoundingly reasonable rates I thought.

I may well be able to lend out a geared alu Dahon, it has mudguards as well ! With a rack too, & have a bag if needed.
Hi all,
I'm a trainee teacher, and I've been placed in a school in Kent. This means a hour and a half commute or waiting outside the school gates if I want to take my bike on the train (before 7).
So I'm wondering if anyone who rides a Brompton would consider swapping for 6 weeks with my Condor Italia racer?
Long shot I know.
Alternatively, I'd be happy to 'hire' one, or even buy 2nd hand. Incidentally, how hard is it to fix the shifter on one of these?
