Wikipedia and everyone who has ever designed an inline 6 engine disagrees with you.
a bit drunk and argumentative (and wrong) - sorry.
Looking forward to some photo's Dale.
Goodwood yesterday.
up at 0545 to get ready to pick up a friend from Notting Hill at 0700 SHARp (his words not mine). Got there and his phone was off. Waited outside, nothing. Recently moved to flat so I didn't know which flat no it was. Anyway long story short he randomly wok up at 0945 and we managed to head off to pick up others.
Puncture then proceeded to occur (slow though so think it's just the valve) 10 miles out of GW. Undoing wheel nuts and the spanner snapped (narrowly missing the bodywork). Luckily a Frog Eyed Sprite broke down with an E-Type just where I was so they helped out. Spare wheel on, 12psi! AA sorted me there.
Anyway, amazing day. Chatted breifly (I shouted at him he registered) to Ken Block at the top of the hill. Some brilliant work by Mr. Petrov on his run up the hill smoking the hit out of his tyres. Saw the Indy500 winning car do a burnout all the way down the hill and the blow a rear at the bottom just as the F1's were going to start their runs.
Epic day, epic weather. Too much hill climbing for my liking! ;)
Sorry to have missed you BRM.
sorry about that mate.
we spent the whole day there on friday, checking put the paddock and concours. we also had passes for the auction and the sponsors tents.
we went back early on the sunday to watch one of the runs up the hill and left after that.
