Big Ortlieb black rucksack? Could be my mate boycey/ex-messenger Sleeps...he built himself a bambike.
Yup, sounds like the guy! Nice chap - had a chat about the bamboo on the way up the hill from Camden going north. Really beautiful looking frame that. Felt a bit embarrassed pootling by with my hilariously battered bike :)

So nobody spotted the pedestrian stepping out in front of me on cheapside this morning and me performing a textbook emergency stop / endo?
Oh, good.

Can I just go on record as saying I loved the story? I'm feeling charitable because I've just eating leftover meatballs from dinner yesterday.

Blonde lady heading to polo down Kingsland Rd yest on a green bike (pompino?)...thought it was Margs but when I shouted she looked confused. I was riding gears for the first time in my life.
Also a load of SE'ers in LMNH Saturday AND Sunday being rowdy :)

nny on brixton high st, as I took coffee with damo, as we both waited for brixton cycles to be down with some mechanicing of bikes.
skoota, down by herne hill as I foot patrolled it to pick up some photo's I'd had mounted up.
both on polo bikes....

i love sunday mornings (recovery ride), it has become a ritual spinning around the quiet streets with Skye, before lunchtime..
bumped into JacktheHat in Old Street, then @ LMNH chatted with CB and NhattAttack about art, tattoos, suntans.. plus others about damaged fingers and thumbs from recent idiot DIY jobs :) Lew in his No.49 tee and TMB girl serving at the counter, even picked up some stuff from the jumble..
pleasant indeed, sunday mornings ftw..

Oh. You got in first. In my version, you and Damo were outside the Beehive, upon it just opening, enjoying a morning pint, like a couple of South Australians.
Good to see you, as always.

Chap on a green beater'ish fixie fixie with white bar tape, Herne Hill > Brixton around 1000. Impeccable riding, observant and courteous.
Why couldn't the other 350,000 cyclists I saw today ride the same?
Unless my eyes were decieving me I think I saw a Foffa with a white spok on Borough High Street this morning.
