Mudguard: you may have fuxed the eyelet theads. Use some thread glue, or a longer bolt with a nut. Mudguards are fiddly, but worth getting right.
Off the shelf wheels are not as well made as custom. Ask the retailer very nicely if they could give you a good deal on rebuilding them. Or get in touch with Charge and ask them to sort the wheels out.
Cables can snap. If a coulple of strands were snipped in the wrong place when trimming that can lead to problems.
