While clearly it is basically a tangle of machined metal, the whole point of having a forum is for the nerds amongst us to get frothy about that metal, regardless of the ultimately humble point of it all, which is to ride.
I don't buy the idea that being a humble outdoorsman and a bike tech/aesthetics geek are mutually exclusive.
