  • I think the indoor one was the right size tbh. But watching some footage of games on the outdoor courts, you realise they really were too small. It stifles the passing game, and makes it pretty easy to defend as there isn't really anywhere for attackers to go!

    It was hard to judge whether the court size was big enough, because of the low boards. I thought the indoor court was ok, size-wise, but the small court was way too small.

    I was slightly frustrated that the goals had not been measured before placement (the 2 goals on the inside court were set at different distances from the back-board), and that none of the centre spots were actually in the centre of the court. I desperately wanted to go and get a tape measure, and get the courts right, but I had already made myself so unpopular with certain sections of the Euro bike polo community that I really didn't want to make a fuss.
