I like Canada. A Canadian invented Velcro. And it makes Switzerland look interesting. Vancouver was voted the number one place that Brits would relocate to if given the chance.

‘swine’s links to Canada. My cousin used to be a curator at the Montreal Museum of Modern Art. She’s American and is now back amongst the land of the free, in Boston. She got married in Canada though – we had tickets to go but my Mum got ill so we ended up staying here. A fine waste of cash for pappa-swine.
I like maple syrup.

Yeah, 'cos it really warm here. It depends where you live. Vancouver gets four proper seasons. We get four seasons here too, but they generally tend to be all in one day.

The snow is fucking awesome there too. Lake Louise and Sunshine Village ftw. Whistler can fuck off with its warm spells and rain.

only been to Canada once, in 1994 this place^.. on Lake Superior, on the US border (north Michigan), basically a Steel Town, but some stunning natural beauty nearly, made famous by the Group of Seven artists.. plus over night stay in Toronto, highlight was visiting CN Tower and that glass floor many storeys up.
We have family in Muskoka, but would love to see Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary one day
About five years ago Canada Day in London used to be really awesome.
There would be a free party in the Canadian Embassy with live music and free booze followed by a street party on Maiden Lane. Sadly the police put a stop to the latter. Probably because too much fun was being had.
Anyway, happy Canada Day one and all.
