Hi...the TA cranks....can the markings on the cranks be removed by polishing?....Any idea what BB length would be needed for a single chainring?.....Condition of threads and square taper please...Are single chainring bolts difficult to source....The threads, English or French?.....I am interested.

threads and tapers are all good. british pedal threads. I got TA single chainring bolts from ebay for £7. I could pass them on to the buyer. I also have a 50T 49D ring.
i was going to polish the scratches out but haven't got around to it. should come out.
