  • Ok so who owns the White fixed Rauler locked in the racks at sainsburys whitechapel? White Selle Italia saddle and White tape on the right drop / none on the left, front brake on top and Mavic rims. It's been abus chained there for a week plus and the vultures are circling. Front wheel gone as of at least yesterday and someones had a go at the lock. It's a matter of time until this bike is stripped out completely.

If you own it what are you playing at? If you know who owns it get them to rescue it eh? It's not in top nick or anything but I'd be really surprised anyone wants to see it pillaged.

FYI I've tipped off security there that it's being progressively attacked and they really couldn't give a fuck.

    Right I'm bumping this.

There are now 3 bikes 'abandoned' in the Sainsbury's Whitechapel racks. I crashed a conversation the manager was having with the customer services lady this morning. They are about to break the locks and "scrap" what's left of the bikes. They were debating the best way to cut the locks.

I mentioned that I thought some folks might fancy a couple of the frames. The manager Sandy said that if someone rocks up with the necessary kit to cut the locks and has a word with him over the next few days, they can help themselves.

I said I'd mention it on here.

The Rauler (now frame and Mavic rear wheel only) would make an excellent beater. It's about a 55cm frame and is locked with a mid weight Abus chain.

There's a clunky looking MTB, which I didn't pay much attention to and a pink and black Peugeot 'Scorpion' small with a perfectly serviceable black rear rack, locked with an Abus D.

Help yourselves. But ask Sandy first. This time next week they'll be fridge magnets.
