Dibs black tyre please.
Hi all,
PRICE DROP UPDATE:
**Wheelset:
SOLD to Squash
Halo Courier 700x25 black or black/purple, hardly used:
****£10 each
Charge Straw bars, plus stem and bar tape****:
£15
**I have a pair of very lightly used wheels for sale with a fixed/free rear hub. I only had them fitted up for about 200 miles before shelving them in favour of a more vintage look.
They were bought last year off a bloke who swapped them out immediately from his shop-fresh Trek Soho S (I think) without even using them. See link for an example of them.
The front rim is showing some signs of brake wear but the rear is basically perfect. They run true and smooth as if new. They are fitted with almost new tubes and 700x24 Halo Courier tyres - front is all-black, rear is black/purple. Clinchers, obviously.
The finish on the rims spokes and hubs is matt black, so they look great with the tyres - until you get close you can't see where the rim stops and the tyres start, which gives a particularly good effect with the purple edging on the rear (makes the rims look deeper than they are).
I'd like £95 for them or will split wheels and or tyres if there's interest. I've also got a mostly unmarked purple flat Charge Straw bar (with stem and black bar tape fitted) to match if anyone wants it, say £20? More details to follow.
Pick up central or Richmond, dibs followed by PM please. Thanks.
