• I have for sale a hand built frame, full Columbus Max tubing beautifully fillet brazed. The frame builder is Charles De Mayo, for whom I could find no information on the internet, but there's a phone number stickered to the stem which puts him in Dorset. When I purchased this frame (a full build which I took the groupset from - far too big for me!) I was told it had been built in 2003. It really is a beautifully made frame, with excellent details in the brake bridge, club cutouts in the BB shell, pantographed top tube at the rear of the seat cluster, and headtube braze-on cable routing (no cable rub!).

Seattube 57cm CTC, 62.5cm CTT. Toptube 57cm CTC

Also included with this frame is a Profile carbon fork, WR carbon seatpost (full carbon, not carbon wrapped aluminium!), Prologo saddle that matches the frame, Shimano 600/Ultegra headset (6500 series), De Mayo branded stem and 44cm Cinelli Eubois ergo bars. Pictured wheelset is not included but gives you an idea of clearances with 23Cs.

Overall the condition is good, there are a few small scratches to the frame, stem and fork. The bars are scratched around the clamp area.

Looking for £200 collected from Bermondsey, can possibly bring to SE's or will post for a bit extra.

  • nice

  • beautifully made. Too big, sorry. Also has carbon effect paint on rear dropouts :(
    Good deal tho.

  • beautifully made, good price. Too big, sorry. Also has carbon effect paint on rear dropouts :(

  • very nice!

  • PM sent

  • I wish i could shrink it to a 55. Very beautiful and good price.

  • I like the cable guides on the head tube, it seems such a simple solution to the problem of cable rub.

  • SOLD, thanks for all the interest - if anyone sees this and knows more about the framebuilder please get in touch!
