  • hah! er, I know a certain someone has this as a pre-tag... hmm.

  • Old Tag:

    One of the Woolwich Ferries

    New Tag:

This place used to generate a lot of hot air. A philistine might say it still does. Ah, what do they know!

  • Ooh! I was there a few days ago. Thought about pre-tagging that door too!

  • good work. It wasn't a difficult location, more of just a pain in the arse to get to.
My clue, was to do with Roxy Music and Brian Ferry, Same Old Scene is a Roxy Music song, Tokyo Joe is a Brian Ferry one.

  • Could have posted this- although would have been difficult to figure out who got the tag as there's at least 50 forumenegers on the ferry!

ha! no Blue Peter tagging here. Went both directions on the Ferry trying to get the right angle with the same part of the boat and the background looking up to Woolwich - completely failed on my first attempt and then on my return journey had to explain tagging to a less than sympathetic ferry guy who wanted me to move to the front! Lovely evening for a ride though.

  • better clue please!

  • Fair enough! That blue door is pointing to a very famous pub, named after the views it once had of a ship from the Tyne.

  • I'll probably grab that one if it's still there tomorrow morning.

Or if Katie posts one image.

    Whichever happens first.

  • ok, now I feel bad, really sorry if I scuppered a mass tagging attempt - I was just trying to help by bringing it back more central - happily give it to Katie if that was the case. Well, mine is a lovely place if you do manage to get there - i'm sure cyclotron would agree...

  • Katie Coo has a race on...

Katie-Coo posted after you, the tags yours, I think that what cyclotron3k was trying to do was rib Katie about was her first tag, where the images didn't show up, so she had to pop a second post in to get the tag

  • That new clue is an absolute whopper but there's just no prospect of getting down there today.

  • hmm, on wrong bike to match my pre-prepared tag :-)

You are quite the wit to live by, aren't you? ;)

  • I should really go and get that door.

    On my way.

  • ^^

fuck me, enough puns already :-)

I accidentally stole a tag from her by posting two pictures after she'd her first one, but before she'd managed to post her second one.

The acrimony and rivalry has been intense ever since.

  • A blue door in Wapping, in the grounds of the London Hydraulic Power Company.

(now an art gallery showing work by Yohji.)

    Double tagged with Dokter P.

    A whopping door;

If these photos are massive I'll resize when photobucket starts behaving.

  • Nice!

    Good to meet you Richard!

  • Nice. I had a pre-tag that was perfect for the last one. Not going to say what it was as I might use it if I get in the game again soon.

I also have a pre-tag for the new one, I could do this without leaving my desk.

  • phew! - I really recommend the Yohji installation, ends on 11 July. The Wapping Project is well worth a visit anyway, they never removed all the turbines before converting it.

KT Bee or Katie Coo? I bear you no ill will, but I'd be careful about opening up a feud with the Forum's Kat / Kate / Katy / Katies ... judging by the turnout on the Cambridge Ride, we are legion

Er, I'm not entirly sure what happened here- the pic of the forum on the ferry was in no way intended as a tag! (Esp as I posted it about 4 hours after the tag had been got!)
Maybe this does refer to an older rivalry with another forum Kate- KT Bee I presume?
Anyway, the race is on. Gonna go after the new tag but very very much doubt I'll get there and home (via the pub) in time.

  • Oh yeah, a bit of Katie/KT confusion there. They were talking about Katie-Coo, I was talking about you (KT Bee).

And yeah, I know you bear me no ill will (and likewise). I'm just hyping things up like a WWF commentator!
