Next year is the 20th anniversary of the seminal Acid House/Trance track Hardtrance Acperience by Hardfloor, arguably one the greatest recorded uses of the Roland TB303
I had a mad idea of trying to get as many people together with 303's to perform this track in a flash mob style at a festival (Glastonbury probably) to celebrate the 20th anniversary, but then figured it would be nigh on impossible to synch them on the fly, and would need a generator, and would sound awful.
And they have said yes in principle to coming over and performing if I can arrange a venue and promotion. Was thinking Brixton Jamm, but not sure how many people it holds?
I'm no promoter, just have a desire to see it done - anyone up for collaborating on it? Not interested in trying to make anything, other than covering expenses etc and cost of putting it on?
So there you go, just the seeds of an idea just now - cheers EB I wait your esteemed opinions ;)
