    Great, thanks!

  • what size seat post you looking for?

tricky one, not sure if i'm getting a new frame or not so whatever seatpost turns up may decide this.

  • Think I have some calipers but they're not on your list...

just bought some (should have asked here first)

  • I have a stem I could be tempted to part with but there is no stem in the picture so i dunno if its the one you're after, i could take a pic for you later if you still need one. Not sure how long it is off the top of my head either..

  • i'm after this one

yes i'd love to see pic and know length

  • yeah the one i have is that design, its way shinier than the one pictured apart from two 1-2 mm scratches near the top bolt.. its on a bike right now but i will take a picture tonight and measure it for you.. Ive been wanting to put a nitto jag and new tape on this particular bike for a while, so this may give me the kick up the arse i need to change it

  • much appreciated

  • I have a set of THESE - they can be used with braze-on mounts as well. I also have a near mint Superbe rear mech but I guess you have one of those?

  • ^they are nice those shifters. But I may as well get all Superbe.
I've got the superbe ones band on.

Can these be modified to braze on do you think? I took them apart but quickly got confused with all the bits.

Yes I've got a rear mech but it's probably not as nice as yours. How much are you looking to sell for?

  • Most band-on levers are simply braze-on ones bolted to a band carrying stubs that act as braze-ons, in other words you should be able to remove them from the band adaptor and simply attach using same fasteners to your frame. Don't mislay any of the bits though, and you will need to be sure how to reassemble correctly otherwise the friction tensioning won't work and they will either slip or bind.

I can't find the pics I had of the mech but something like £15? If you are still interested I will take more pics... cheers.

  • yes at £15 i'd be happy to upgrade

  • Let me send you some pics to be sure it's better than what you've got, but it looks pretty clean to me.

  • great stuff cheers

  • OK, here you go, bit rough and ready but light was going and no time to clean it but it appears virtually unused in the flesh.
