would be higher if fork was included, which is not, and that's an additional expense.

This one? Last time I bought a frame from the states I got charged £100 at customs, so bear that in mind. Looks structurally fine, you could polish out alot of the scuffage, and 853'll last and last. I'd say 150 too.

Seams reasonable, I had problems shifting my 853 mtb frame for that price

Phew, just a smidge over 150 (cough) but worth it I think. More than I was expecting to pay but think this could make a sweet franken/rat if I can only build with second hand parts and keep all other costs as low as possible :)

Gotta say, it seems like a shame to turn that into a 'rat' bike when it actually looks like it could be a really nice road bike.
The paint job looks pretty cool and a bit of t-cut and wax would probably sort it out. I'm hoping this isn't the one you're planning on rattlecanning brown.

^ I'll also be sacrificing a couple of puppies ;)
I'm thinking something more subtle than just rattle canning it brown. The problem being whenever I've built up a bike to have as a beater I've always gone over the top and it's ended up being something that I get really twitchy about leaving locked up outside for any length of time, even when well locked. I also want to ride something nice and light, a sort of stealth beater if you will.
Perhaps I'm trying to have my cake and eat it but I think it's doable. The Reynolds 853 stickers will almost certainly get covered up. As for T-Cut and wax the scratches already on it do look deeper than that. I also like the red and white though. Hmmm, decisions, decisions :)
Just curious as I have no idea how much such a frame is worth so wanted to see if any of the forum's experts would chip in. As the title says it's a Fuji Roubaix Pro frame in Reynolds 853, probably early to mid 2000s, no forks frame only. Used, straight, no dinks or dents, semi-vert drop-outs (am thinking about making it into a conversion, probably fixed) a few scuffs, scratches and paint chips but normal wear and tear really.
Any thoughts on how much it might go for or what it's worth? Thanks.
