Gotta say, it seems like a shame to turn that into a 'rat' bike when it actually looks like it could be a really nice road bike.
The paint job looks pretty cool and a bit of t-cut and wax would probably sort it out. I'm hoping this isn't the one you're planning on rattlecanning brown.
