For Sale: Rudi Altig Schauff Dura Ace Campagnolo

On behalf of a friend i'm selling this rather Rare Schauff "Rudi Altig" Road Bike.

ST: 60 c-c
TT: 59 c-c

Reynolds 531 Frame.
Columbus Forks.
Bike is in good condition.
Some small scratches here and there but nice over all.

the color is a bit more gold-ish rather then orange.

Wild mix of components but apparently set up to Rudi Altig's preferences.

real nice frame - shame about the mishmash of components but at least you've got them all covered!

Tom Simpson beat Rudi Altig to win the World Professional road race title in 1965 but won it himself in Germany the following year in 1966....he is still alive....unlike Tom!

He was friends with all the top men....he was one of the top men... a world champion surrounded by world champions...yet only Merkcx was there and remember EM had not yet become EM the legend. Strange.
