hi there,
I have a story for you, which is heartwarming and true on top of it. So here it goes...Theo is a poor Italian boy who makes a living selling goat cheese on those mean London Streets He got used to getting pushed around on those markets by fat and greasy men. It reminds him a lot of what school was like. His tiny stall just looks pathetic, and often, he gets turned away with no money to pay for the licence. His only glimmer of hope (and his only friend) was his beloved bike which allowed him to move from market to market, to set up a stall whereever he wanted. He would just put his little DIY-trailer behind that tatty old thnig and off he was, to a different world, forgetting all the worries plaguing him.
When his beloved bike was stolen, he was shattered. Who would steal such a thing? It was important to him, but could it be to anyone else? It was like raping a 90 year old...he was saying, almost crying, and that it happened while he was just around the corner to save a little puppy from a mad cab did not really help in soothing his pain. How he wished for a new bike, a real one, with mudguards, gears, and rack!
if still available, I or he could pick up today, or nay time good for you, thanks for the generous offer,
regards,
jeannette -

That rape comparison is a bit much.

A mutual friend of Canaidan and mine has just had her wheels and seatpost stolen in the middle of exam season... very sad. See the appeal for wheels here: http://www.lfgss.com/thread67969.html
Shinigami has kindly offered to lend, but maybe you would consider donating wheels (if compatible)/bike so Jules can ride once again? Post in Canaidan's wanted thread above if you would :)

I think the fairest way to decide is to say whoever can come and pick up first can have it, the nearest tube to me is Northwood Hills on the Met Line.
