Just thought. Brake fluid on the roof, they'd never realise until they stop anyway. I do always go with the smile and blow kisses, works to the same effect on a rugby pitch.

Finally got a front brake sorted - took it out for one of my first fixed rides - All going well. Decided to go down a hill to test out my spinning capability, car behind me. Hit a pothole, seat bolt obviously wasn't tight enough, saddle tilts forward, all my weight ends up on the pedals, back end skids out but manage to stay upright, for some reason feet unclip and i get me legs above the furiously spinning pedals asap, one catches the back of my leg (ow) and i roll down the rest of the hill with my legs out like a maniac and roll into a side street to catch my breath. Bemused astra driver looks at me with disdain.

Yup done it too. At least you're not hurt badly though...just your pride!

Think you should check your bolts Thomas, maybe your bolt bailed cause it rained?
