The Outsiders was a book I had to read inside out for GCSE English. We read it in class over a period of time before watching a dubious VHS version and actually getting the message. From memory, it also actually shows what the alien-worshipping devil-incarnate looked like before he got his teeth sorted out. It looks like he was wearing them in for a donkey...

So I have a choice later - either The Silent House or Point Blank

Watched Failling Down at the weekend.. Forgot what a great little film this is.

i watched 'Bride Wars' last night. best Al Quaeda recruiting video i've seen yet.

Saw the Nightmare on Elm Street reboot last night.

Still at a loss why hollywood feel the need to re-make films almost exactly the same way they were made the first time around. if you're going to pretend the first film never happened at least fuck around with things a bit more to make it a new film instead of a half-assed rehash.

One thing you won't be saying about RumbleFish - fuck me I love this film.
Copeland's score is epic! And the film holds up with awesome performances from pretty much everyone. Apart from Cage of course ; )

My first gf's dad went to see Warhol's Empire when it (amazingly) got a UK theatre release sometime in the early 70s... He watched the whole thing... Mental about film much?
