The frame is an early 1980s Super, with pantographed forkcrown, headlugs and cut-out lugging elsewhere. However, there is a crack, shown, in the headtube lugs. I am not selling it for this reason, as it was only discovered when the bike was stripped. I've ridden the frame for about 6 months, but there's no saying for how long with the crack. I really don't know. I'm selling it to fund another frame.
I have it on good authority that this is unfortunately a common occurrence with Alan's, and that it is repairable. If I wanted to keep it I'd do so, but I want to buy something else. It really is beautiful, and much more desirable than the silver frames in my opinion. There is a decal missing on the non-driveside top-tube, and some scuffing as you'd expect, but otherwise it's in very good condition. It has an Italian threaded Shimano BB which worked loose twice under nothing more strenuous than commuting, so it's been secured with Loctite. One of the cups has been replaced with a Campag, but I still have the original.
ST - c-t-t = 58cm.
TT - c-t-c = 54 1/2/55 cm.
126/100 spacing.
I also have a 25mm seatpost which suits the era of the frame. It's got a hole drilled in it, pictured, which is how it was when I bought it. I've no idea why. I'll chuck that in for nothing with the frame if somebody would like it, otherwise;

I also have this saddle. There's a minor scuff on the left-rear, shown; otherwise it's in good shape.
£20.
If somebody wants both the saddle and seatpost then I'd do them for £30, but any buyer of the frame would have first refusal on the seatpost.
Dibs on the thread followed by a PM please, and preference given to London buyers.
Cheers,
'swine.
