Always popular. Should we have a general bike tagging events thread? They happen quite often and in all sorts of areas.

Yes.
I'd be quite keen to get mine done one lunch time and would have gone to that if it was closer, even if it is a bit of a token gesture.

Question: if you like the look of your frame do you elect not to apply the (frankly large) red 'this has been tagged' sticker? If so - where?
Tip: wait for the details to arrive in the post a few weeks after the po po have tagged your bike. Don't do what I did and start self registering on the Bike Register site. It makes things confusing!

Useful to know. I had a bike returned to me once after two years of having had it stolen. They might as well not have bothered as it was in a right state but at leats it is some comfort that the tagging works.

Strange. They were there at about 8.45 and they didn't look like they were going anywhere. Maybe they left just after the rush hour

They are there again this morning if anyone is in the area and what's their bike tagged.
Though they weren't there for long last time
The Old Bill are tagging bikes on the cycle path that runs across the railway bridge between Chalk Farm and Primrose Hill if anyone is in the area and wants their bike security marked
