It's a fucking rad idea. The rig would totally rock in busy fast-moving traffic, or hitting a 25% descent at full fucking throttle, especially no-handed without a helmet or any of that girly shit.
Get your mates to film it too. I wanna see that badboy in action.

1.9? Like 1.9 inch? 49mm 24" tyre? Are you building a chopper?
-
• #10
will be faster downhill, wiv smaller wheel at the front an that
-
• #11
this should be entertaining..

You should talk to pajamas, he's done this at least twice - has a bit of a thing for lowpros. Trouble is he doesn't really post on the forum these days...

so past all the rammle all ill need is 24" forks with enough steerer tube, right?
Yep. Please post photos when you're done.
Also, you really nees to finish it off wth some sort of disc wheel on the back to make it a proper lo-pro. Spokey-dokeys on the front might be worth considering too.

It's the weather right? A bit of sun brings them all out? le sigh.

1.9cm in diameter?
-
• #16
24 x 1.9 usually means 507x50, not 19mm. He'll be for a shock if it's true.

ok ok i get the idea, to be honest ive just tried the wheel in the existing forks and it looks absolutely fucking shite, im going back to trying to find some nice white areo 36h rims :)
ow and i just put a 2.0 tyre next to the 23c thats on it, i thought id be able to prove you wrong with it but i defiantly cant.
do you need a hub specific to straight/2 cross/3 cross specific designs?

It was done before
so i've got this 700c road bike, but everybody knows a hipsters got to have an arrowspoke or a lo-pro and since I picked up a brand new 24" wheel today for 42p from halfords I might give that a go.
the rim is stamped for a 1.9 tyre so i'm guna look for something of this sort of width and smoothish.
i know the handleings guna go to shit and it probably wont look to good but i just couldn't pass it by for the price and wana give it a go - ive got some 10" wide bars for the same reason ;). i just enjoy playing around with bikes :)
