  • Nowhere Fast, this is the original post:

The point that is being made is that this thread is for people to show their own bikes, not just plaster up the dozens that can be found by putting 'lo pro' in google images. no snobbery.

    end of discussion.

  • I sold this a while back, kind of regret it. I liked it loads but felt it was a bit too wee.

    Wonder what became of it?

  • Probably another Pengy.

  • What's the gear ration on that bad boy?

  • not as bad as it seems, about 74GI but if I flip the wheel over onto the 16t I get 85 GI - but that's not practical/a good idea for riding sans brakes (not that brakeless is practical in the first place. . .)

  • as owned by harry and asm?

  • as owned by harry and asm?

    I believe so!

  • Mini Lo Pro

  • proper noob question but what is the benefit of a lo pro frame? is it just that the stems in a lower position? I love the look of lo pro frames but can't you just raise the seat to get a similar position? As I said total noob but would love to be enlightened!

  • yep, makes cycling a lot easier

  • The mental Red Lo-Pro, mentioned elsewhere.

sumo - "I thought it was for maximum aero in TT's before tri bars and shit."

this seems like best explanation. something about stiffer front end too, don't know enough about that though.

  • No it's deffo for constant downhill.

    That's why it was banned.

  • yeah it made all up hill sprints pointless as you could just freewheel up them

  • haha. looking to buy one of these but it would just be for getting to work and back. are they a nightmare to ride on roads?

  • They're designed to be ridden on roads. But not how you mean.

  • are they a nightmare to ride on roads?

For the 400,000,000th time: If you are OK with riding on the drops full time *and *your lo pro fits you properly, they ride exactly the same as a normal bike.

  • Interesting comma convention there.
