Peugeot Geared Bicycle for sale. Not sure on exact model but Screenshot from the Catalogue is what I potentially think it is.

Sachs Huret Derailleurs in great working order

Wheels are Rigida SuperchromX 700c with 700 v 25 Schwalbe Extra Light skin 25 tyres in good condition. Admittedly the wheels are beyond their time and owner would probably be replacing them

White Deda Bartape recently put on drops and I had new bearings put in the headset yesterday so the bike is ready to ride.

Price is £130 ono

Edit: Location is Archway/Highgate but if you are in North London or parts of Central London or East London that are relatively near I dont mind cycling to you for a viewing if you are very much interested. (weather permitted)

The only thing this shares with the bike in the catalogue is the paint scheme. It's alright though and fairly priced imho.

The ones in the screenshot are fancy; the top one is a PY10fc (which I used to own) which originally cost a couple of grand in the 80's!

Basically if it's carbolite it's pretty much irrelevant as to what model it is as it has no collectible value, unless you're a Pug enthusiast I guess, which there seems to be plethora of on the forum.

sorry a bit out of topic but can anybody tell me the different between this model and Elan??because mine just looks exactly the same but it saids elan, not premiere..

and one more thing, is it a good price because i'm just about to sell my elan for £90??

They've plastered the same rainbow decals over shitloads of models in the 80s, but that one's a premier, got one myself.

Around £100 is what they are worth (well market value) give or take depending upon condition....

thanks Tel for the information..yeah i got exactly the same rainbow decals like in the picture..mine is absolutely descent, apart from the chainring coz i don't know how to remove my crankset but the crank arms, the handlebars, pedals have been properly polished and restored from rusts so i'll think about my price..thanks a lot buddy..
