• Big props to all that did it, glad you guys caught the 6.25 train as we were no where near our 8.08 but it was a magical mytsery tour.. Has anyone heard from Rich (i think thats his name) who could'nt face another ride from pewsey? Thanks to Skive for organising and all the new peeps I met along the way.

That was my first night ride since doing dunwich about 5 years ago and I'd forgotten how nice it is whizzing through deserted country lanes and villages under the cover of darkness, I had no clue where I was for most of the journey but that didnt matter as the navigators did a splendid job.

I got in about 12.30 today to find my landlord and mate from australia waiting for me, and what did they want to do, go for a bike ride!! I've not slept yet and have just got back in from an extra ride to thames barrier and back, the return leg into such a massive headwind it felt I was'nt moving and I could have keeled over and slept right there. Had a few afternoon ales to keep going and am just off to local now to eat the entire menu then off for an epic super sleep that may last till the weekend. Cheers everyone.
