I just slept too long. Oops.
That was a lot of fun though, despite unintentional slight epicness.
Completely agree on props to Joe, his cramps started quite early and he didn't moan at all, a classic HTFU and get on with it.
Highlights were many, but the deer that ran out in front of me was a nice surprise, as was the Anthony Gormley man, all the other wildlife, the friendly people we met along the way (the Virginia Water Scousers and the folk at the stones), the final 10 miles to Great Bedwyn, which was really nice. Some good navigating there.
Quite happy with that as from home and back included did about 130 miles fixed, which is a record for me. I now need a massive meal!
