1950's Pennine road frame, seattube 56cm c/t, toptube 56cm c/c
This was my first fixed gear conversion(sniff) built on the morning of the first tweed run, comes as pictured with bars, chainset and brakes.
Orginially built to take 27" wheels but 700's work fine with the weinmann brakes fitted, geo is a little slack by modern standards so looks better with mudguards to fill the frame up. Nice Agrati forward facing dropouts with mudguard eyelets
It is 531 and takes a 27.2cm seatpost, lamp and pump bosses. There is remnants of the 531 sticker which I knackered putting it in a workstand.
Chrome is pitted all over with clear blue laquer panels on downtube, seat and head tubes. The seatstay join also has a nifty little handpainted pine tree which I've seen on a couple of other Pennine frames. Patina is heavy but awesome.
BB could do with an overhaul and the chainset will need new cotterpins.
GB spearpoint stem with hole for centrepull brakes.
Could do with new tape on the bars as it's a bit manky. Will make a perfectly servicable beater or ratty road build(was thinking of rebuilding it geared recently).
I am asking for the grand sum of £70 for the frame as pictured. Just add wheels and seatpost/saddle/pedals and it's ready to go.
Cash on collection only(N5), don't have time to send it tbh so will only post if I don't get a London buyer.
Apologies for crappy iPhone pics.
Dibs followed by pm. No pm = no dibs.
Will have plenty of other stuff up for sale soon as well, few pairs of bars, 2x unused black corsa saddles, loprotracktandem frame etc etc SOLD
