Aha, was it troutio on the specialized? I admired his feet-off-the-pedals descent on one part of the ride. I was please to see a number of fixed or singlespeed riders this morning, including the might 'teef. But where was Balmain??
I had the wrong saddle for this ride - a B17 does not combine well with my posterior for those long spinny descents and it resulted in (a) the back end of the bike making some not very pretty noises as I tried to get the revs up and (b) rather more collateral damage to my behind than would have been the case with the Rolls that I'd taken off the bike last night.
Anyway, great to see you itsbruce, and that Gazelle is gorgeous, even if it took me several hours to appreciate the white/purple co-ordination going on there.
