Plus Italian frames need Campag! 8)
True. Shame about the shifter- thats a bugger- was it left or right? I have 3 spare rights, so it was probably the left!
Whoever bought the Bianchi- I have nothing to prove this, but the bloke I bought it from was a club cyclist and he said he bought it in Italy and that it had ex-team credentials- apparently belonged to a Domestique.
As i say- no papers or anything- but you never know,

I bought the Bianchi - it's ineresting to know it has some history. I will probably be running it as a fixed conversion at first, but might put some campag gears on it at some point in the future. My current audax/winter bike is all Campag/ITM already, so it was just a metter of time before I got a nice Italian frame...

Great stuff. I ran it fixed for a while and it dealt with it very well. There are some nice examples of squadras online- http://www.biketoss.com/Barner/92BianchiSquadra/pages/92SquadraSide_jpg.htm - it looked good in the original colours when I first got it and came with partial chorus group set.

dibs trek, whet size seatpost would i need for it.

After years of looking out for a Squadra one passes me by. That'll learn me for actually working at work, rather than pretending to be busy while looking at aspirational goods on the interweb. It was my size too...
... can I ask how much you'd listed it for?
