I''ve been driving past a bike that looked similar to my old bike for a few weeks now. It's been locked up outside a piano shop in the daytime.
Today I stopped right alongside it in the traffic. Had a good look and fuck me, it's me old bike. I can tell as it still has the non matching brake levers I put on. An upgrade to aero levers.
I got it as a birthday present when I was about 14. I did about 150 miles a week on it back then. You couldn't get me off the damn thing. It is a British Eagle Tri with Reynolds 501, 105 groupset, with a nice blue/white fade paintjob. I can remember my Dad having to lie to my Mum and sisters about how much it cost (£300). He was really into his bikes back then.

So, 20 odd years later, what shall I do ?
