Nope, but my City and Guilds was shorter than usual because I seemed to understand the difference between the sharp and blunt ends of the spanner.
Good to see that Cytech are being a bit flexible- they weren't awfully helpful when I was looking for an assessment only approach 6 years ago.

hiya thanks for the reply.
Will check to see if you can just book an assessment without evidence of any formal Cytech training.
Anyone else undertaken the assessments recently?

Kinda obvious but have you looked for the syllabus and some indication of what and how they will examine you? I seem to remember that I found it on the interweb somewhere.

yes have looked - bit vague - my question was not not really 'what is in the test; but more 'can you do the test without evidence of formal documented training'
think I will just email the providers and see what they say.

I had assessment only on level 2, would be happy to discuss rootes, PM me.
I noticed that under the Cytech Training Course price list it has 'Assessment Only' prices..
Anyone here just pitched up and put themselves in for these without any 'formal' Cytech training?
