It was pretty heavy indeed :) But after a while I got used to it. This time I dont have so much time, so I will travel with a minimum amount of gear to cover more km. My old bike got stolen (dont worry, not in SE-Asia, happened in my home Vienna ;) I have a cyclocross bike now, will see how recommendable it is for touring. I think I will miss the suspension fork here on the Indian roads...
