For Sale: OT: Furniture, Chesterfield, Chair, Table.

Bit of a mess this thread... Just a desk for sale now.. £35... was around 80-90 new I think and I did want more... but....

Mattress isn't included I'm afraid... it's in very condition and is a regular "double" size.

nice place! how many beds? i'd be interested in the chesterfield, but unfortunately, not until mid/end sept, which defeats the object of the page i presume....

Desk wise, I cant find any pics atm, but its solid wood on "Vika" trestles, which I can't imagine cost more than £75 all in... it's in great condition and has been treated so I'd love to get £50 for it, actually no, I'd love to keep it but my new place doesn't have the room...

well me and the missus are looking for somewhere at the end of september (1 or 2 bed) and that looks like a rather nice place with those steps down into the living room from the kitchen. that a sliding door to the bedroom? you got any details on the place; price? but i suspect it's available now as opposed to 3 months time!

I don't envy your position... I have been in this place for 2 years and it's been great, really nice private landlords who once we started looking to rent again (this place is for sale) we realised we were paying about 2-300 pounds less than the going rate!
Good luck with your hunt, I'd trawl Gumtree for a private landlord if I were you...

i must admit, we've started trawling gumtree and move flat for possible places. the missus doesnt want to live in a ground floor flat, so that's a difficult one. and we're gonna move south (from north) to herne hill/brixton to get somewhere cheaper and bigger for the money. its a bugger really, cos finding a private landlord nowadays (compared with 3 or more years ago) is difficult. to find a decent place, and not a student hell hole. you place looks good, and that chesterfield is an outright winner. me and the missus want the sofa a single chair for the new place when we find it.

Yeah, I think we got lucky with the place, we saw some dives for the same or more money... I'm sure you can find something on Gumtree if you keep at it...
