• Where to start with this? Perhaps it would be better not to, I don't want to get involved in a battle of wits with an unarmed man. If the risk was calculated, it was obviously by somebody with only the most tenuous grasp on Risk Analysis and Newtonian Mechanics. Whether or not the injuries sustained in this crash were contributory factors in his eventual suicide, the fact of his suicide is a cause for sadness, but the crash itself is an example of rank stupidity taking its natural course.

I will take that insult with a smile, as to be fair, I threw the first blow and yours was quite funny... but... I don't mean to be a keyboard warrior... It really isn't I'm afraid, you don't understand BMX. If a road rider/racer falls off, say, from washing out on unseen debris, or the Tour de France special- being unable to steer round a round about, were they stupid for riding too fast? No. They made a judgement based on experience which in said incident sadly failed them. Your sort of attitude really bothers me and is quite belittling to BMX riders in general, lumping it in with moron "freshers" who jump off fences and smash bottles over their own heads. Colin made a judgement based on his decades riding BMX, sadly this time he was wrong, I'm sure even you have made a mistake once in your life? Colin was a far from stupid man and you should not speak with such disrespect.
