• I'm looking for a full bike or one that doesn't need any major work for a ride I'm doing to Berlin in August for Cancer Research (would ride fixed but will just be carrying too much stuff). Preferably an old steel frame, size 53-54cm with braze ons for rack, etc but will consider anything. I was planning to build one but I want to start training on the bike I'll be riding ASAP and it will probably cost me too much. Have never ridden gears before and am a bit worried so no need for gears in double figures! Hit me with your best/worst...

  • Have you seen the Concorde RIH is selling?

  • Here it is.

^ This plus rack and panniers or just a huge carradice saddlebag. A front rack perhaps if you need to take camping stuff. It's possible to fit all this stuff without eyelets on the frame.

  • Oh nice one thanks, not sure if it will be a bit long. I had trouble with a 55 and running drops before. I'll send him a message though. Will deffo be taking camping stuff!

  • If you end up with the Concorde – you could change the handlebars for something with a much less reach and drop-on-the-top. Planet X have lots of cheap 3ttt bars in their sale.
