Pineapple on Pizza has precedent, it's from the American tradition rather than the Italian but it is established and has a history.
It's disgusting and only idiots order it but that's a taste thing. If it's not to your taste it's not to your taste. You can't just write off a culinary tradition cos it's 'orrible, look at what the Scandinavians get up to with their fish pickling fetishes. No sane person would go near any of that lutefisk nonsense but you can't begrudge them their bit of gastronomic self abuse to get them through those long dark winter nights.
Chicken on a pizza, however, is a crime.
