Rode to brighton on Sunday, arrived at 7 am having not slept, dozed and drank coffee until 10 when the pubs opened. By 1pm, after 4/5 pints, it had started to rain heavily. But I promised I'd see my Mum, so I necked 2 red bull, and did the 30miles to Petersfield. Arrived soaked, covered in mud and ridiculously happy. The tail wind made up for the alcohol and lack of sleep...Think I averaged about 20mph, quite good for me.
