I'll ride back if you do...

Although might have a few hours kip at my M&Ds first.

Why did I read that as a few hours kip at Mc Donald's first?

Tell me about it, a month to go and I've finally stepped up my mileage (after a knee injury) I think if I'm doing 80+ miles by time DD comes around I should be comfortable.

You have no idea the number of times I have been riding on the Suffolk coast wishing there was a Mcdonalds.
Anyway, fuck riding back. By the time I get to Dunwich I would have riden 500mi in the last 8 days and even if my legs have it in them, the idea of feasting on fish and chips at my Mum and Dads house followed by an amazing sleep trumps any big bollocks points I might get for riding back!

Rosie(or is it ey), if you are actually up for riding back I'm sure my Mum wouldn't mind you grabbing one of her spare rooms for a few hours shut eye.

It's my birthday on the Monday. I wonder if I will have made it back by then.

I'm bang up for it in theory but as I say, I'd have a lot of miles in my legs by then so maybe I should see how I feel when I get there.

I'll be starting around 9, with my mate Ben. (I think you're on here, no idea what your username is) What does anyone reckon is the optimum rest time? I have found that staying awake is the best policy, or at least not sleeping for long enough to enter deep sleep. You just sieze up and shut down. Maybe 1\2 hour snooze followed by red bull.

I wouldn't bother sleeping at all. Stay awake eat and drink well and you should be ok.

Coach tickets have sold out... I shall be emailing everyone now for the names, contact details, etc so that you are paired up with your seat on the day.
If anyone can't make it, please let me know so that I can sell your seat to someone else. The payment isn't refundable, so your ticket will just be a donation towards the costs of the coach (we run it at a loss).

OH NOES!
I was on holiday, and now I've missed out. Not sure I'll be doing DD now. Will be moving to London in two weeks time, and don't fancy an epic weekend of riding out there and trying to get home on my own along with new-job-stress.
Spence, you're still more than welcome to crash at my place.

Its not a bad journey home...just roll to a train station!

Sparky you sir are a gent! I'll be down at 4ish.
How about riding back with us and getting a train back from Norwich? If you time it right and use the train line website it'll only cost you £10. If you've got time to kill you can always come back to mine. The Mrs will be on roast dinner duty.

That is very tempting. I just don't want to be really tired for the Monday because of the new job. I'll have a think about it.
ok no probs, my pal (who is a member, just he appeared to be snoozing) has now bought his ticket. thanks.
