Jesus, well done for staying on the bike...possibly best to turn off the main road in that situation and lose them. This is way beyond the usual everyday thoughtlessness of most motorcyclists/scooterists (thats what I thought the thread would be about). Did you get any number plates? I am routinely cut up, forced into the kerb, boxed in etc, but never so purposefully. Closest I come to your experience is from youths on foot, my freind was hit round the head in croydon at 1am sun morning on way to brighton, I've had to sprint a few times for fear of being beaten up and having the bike nicked.
I've often thought about using my d-lock to defend myself in these situations...but am pleased to say I always chicken out.
