• In 1958, this frame was specially built for Tommy Crowther, owner of Mercian Cycles, Derby. A year later it was purchased by its present owner, who was a well-known time-trialist and is now unable to cycle due to illness.
He has asked me to sell this complete machine, which is one of the finest road-path frames I have encountered. The details are as follows:
22 1/2 seat tube and top tube
Reynolds 531 with very finely hand-cut lugs, which were specially made for this frame only.
Wheels are Mavic 32/40's on large flange Campag track hubs, currently with 22 sprocket .
Steel GB Titan Maes stem and GB aluminium bars 16" OS/OS. GB front brake.
Brooks Pro saddle with the rare simple badge embossed on Campag 2 bolt seatpin
TA 51 chainring on Stronglight Dural Forge cranks
Bluemels Club Special mudguards. The bike is ready to ride away.

The owner is asking £650, but I will put forward all offers to him.
