i meant yay to sunday polo, not sunday polo without paul

that's just an added bonus ;-)

remember when three guys showed up who had been looking for us for weeks and just wanted to play polo? They even had a team name. back then there was one tournament to talk about. we played furiously, sweating even though it was 5 degrees, the gloves necessary. We gathered under-cover of NCP at 11pm in the dead of winter. We must have been on a good vibe because we wanted to create an official body to promote the sport.

I dont like polo to perfection. I think we need to have a casual polo day, away from the Powerhouse, where we can: invite people.. and enjoy beer and BBQ some prawns.

Saturday August 13th - chilled Erectus polo in Chorlton Park in the afternoon - BBQ at mine in the evening. Partners welcome. Beers in Chorlton later for those that fancy it. I'll repost nearer the time.

nesbitt, genuinely sorry to hear about your bike, know how much you enjoy polo so it's a shitter when you lose your bike. anyway, i'm gonna be selling my old bike so first dibs goes to you, £80 - what i paid for it. the BB 'may' be a bit fooked but it'll be fine in polo gear. it's all stickered up to guck but it's got a new front and better back wheel, hookworm tyre on the rear and better stem and bars, so it's had money spent on it. it's got to go anyway, so i just thought it'd be nice to keep it within mcr polo...

Nezzer - I can sort you a loaner for the summer if needed - PM me and we'll do a 'fitting'...

special thanks to neil and yoav. ive got my old track frame lying at home, so reckon i'll use that to start a new polo bike with.

i'll be needing bits though, so expect me to come running after ive seen what i've got lying round myself

just to add to the pot.. i have got some narrow alloy risers that have been whoring around mcr polo. chainring or two and 13 & 16t fixed cogs. can sort you a 1" seatpost if you need it too.

Nesbit I would snap that bike up from Yoav. It's perfect for polo, I road it a few times and it felt great.

Is everyone still on the list playing today? The weather in the range is a bit crap right now...
