Just to let people know, although i got the first dibs and we had even entered into discussion of time and place to pick up, after about a day of radio silence from the seller i've just been informed that the lock has been sold.
I'm not sure why he decided to sell it without telling me first; i was able to pick it up today, in person from covent garden. I guess someone put in a higher offer and the seller didn't have the common decency to even let me know let me know or post it here. Whatever the reason, i call poor show.
