2011 Pro-cycling season thread

Well, I thought yesterday was a good day of racing in the Dauphine.

Today trumped it!

Like watching a Spring Classic. Echelons, star riders forced to the front, nasty street furniture and a killer ramp for the riders to grind up to a stunning finish. I'm ashamed to say I've never heard of Degenkolb, but I'll not forget him. What power! He looked like he was trying to tear the handlebars off the bike, and I thought he'd almost succeeded!

There be some tired legs for the TT tomorrow.
