Obviously if you're using 10 pitch for both chain ring and sprocket, you need to multiply by 1.27 and then divide by 1.27.

No, the fact that you can ride it in a field doesn't make it practical. At least not more so than a road bike, which is a lot better on the road, where most of us do most of their riding anyway. I know what porn is about and I just really like the look of that bike, which surprises me because I don't typically like Surlys and cross bikes in general.
